Luck had it that Terry Jones and Brian Froud were helping out the Institute for the Criminally Insane and simultaneously chanced upon Quentin Cottington's Journal of Faery Research.  Interested in knowing more, both began their own study.
Their curiosity, along with Quentin's outstanding scientific instruments (such as the "Psychic Image Nebulising Generator" and the "Primary Odour Nasalising Gasificator"), led them on a grand journey into the World of Olefaction and Maculation. Hmmmmm
