Strange Stains & Mysterious Smells


THE NOXIMORON
This is one of those smells that suddenly and boldly manifests itself whenever two or more humans are driving in a car.  Everyone looks at everyone else, secretly, trying to decide Who is responsible.  Usually it is conveniently blamed on the dog, who has been sleeping soundly throughout the journey.  It is a very stubborn smell and refuses to budge even when all the car windows are opened.  The truth, as we discovered after several hours of interviewing, is that the Noximoron enjoys cars and has merely come along for the ride.

It is usually on its way to a more prestigious occasion, such as a Royal Investiture or the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland's dinner table.
