The World of the Dark Crystal

Brian Froud discusses the making of "The Dark Crystal":

"It has been a strange process.  At times I despaired of things coming out as I wanted them to.  There were so many differences of opinion and so many compromises had to be made to accommodate the characters to the physical limitations of the human body.  But everything did turn out all right in the end.
Lost Gelfling Somehow the exchange between artist and builder and performer took us through a full circle and brought us back to what we had been trying to do in the first place."
