Membership and User Information:

I cannot access the Membership areas. What do I do?
Make sure you are using the User ID and Password provided to you when you signed up. Please note, your email is not your User ID.

If you are using the correct User ID and Password, be sure you have cookies and javascript enabled. You will also need to allow popup windows for worldoffroud.com and bravenet.com.

I signed up as a member to your mailing list but have not received a User ID and Password. Why not?
The User ID and Password were provided to you upon your initial sign-up. They were listed on the automated confirmation page AFTER you clicked the link which confirmed your email subscription. If you did not receive your a confirmation email request, it is either due to an invalid email entry or due to your email provider. Also, you have 7 days to click on the link within your confirmation email or the email URL link becomes invalid.

With today's email issues regarding spam, a lot of email users and/or providers are blocking 'automated' emails. In order to not have our newsletters blocked, you will need to add worldoffroud.com to your provider's 'whitelist' or 'not-spam' list. Please see your email provider if you need assistance in changing your spam settings.

If your provider has a folder that houses 'suspected' spam email and you have not received our email in your inbox, you will usually find our email housed in that folder. If you cannot locate this email or your provider automatically deletes spam email you will need to add worldoffroud.com to your provider's whitelist then unsubscribe and resubscribe or wait eight days and try again.

After unsubscribing please wait 10 minutes before resubscribing in order to give our system time to process your 'unsubscribe' request. Thank you!

I have tried to customize my User ID and Password, but it won't let me. What am I doing wrong?
At this time, the WOF User ID and Password you are provided with is not customizable. An automated User ID and Password will be created and provided to you on your confirmation page when you initially sign up as a member of our mailing list.

To change your email you will need to unsubscribe your OLD email and subscribe with your new information.

What do you do with my email and personal information?
Your privacy is important to us. World of Froud does not sell, distribute or publicize your information to any third party. Your information is strictly used to send Froud-related news mailers and provide access to our membership sections. Your Date of Birth information is strictly used for age requirements and your location information is strictly used for planning on where the Froud's make appearances and other World of Froud events.

What if I'm having trouble with the mailing list emails?
Members of our mailing list will receive newsletters via email. Our mailing list is set up to verify your email subscription prior to sending you any mailers and prior to providing you with a user ID and password. If you do not get an email asking you to verify your email address or if you did not sign up but keep receiving emails asking you to verify your subscription, please contact us by filling out our Froudian Issue contact form.

What free stuff can I get if I join?
Members of our mailing list will receive free computer items located within our membership areas as well as worldoffroud.com merchandise / event discounts and/or specials and/or exclusive Froud Merchandise. During certain times of the year we also host contests where Froudian members will win free Froud merchandise.

Why should I join? I want to see what I get before I join.
Becoming a WOF member is at your own choosing. It is free to join and you can always unsubscribe at any time. There are several perks of becoming a member of the WOF website. By becoming a member you have access to the membership area of the worldoffroud.com website. This section has free computer items, greeting cards, a Froudian profile/location map and more! You will also be the first to know about upcoming news and other Froud updates via our newsletter!

How often will I receive emails? I don't want to get bombarded with emails!
Members will receive approximately 6 -15 email newsletters a year. Our newsletters will provide you with news of upcoming WOF events, new Froud merchandise and/or merchandise specials, new releases, bio information and other items pertaining to World of Froud™ and/or worldoffroud.com.
